Good morning, I don’t know if it’s possible to get Audacity to have the functionality again to start recording from the moment the “record” button is executed, regardless of whether the song starts playing a few seconds later. In this way, nothing is missed of the song to be recorded. This problem did not previously have him since, about two or three previous versions ago, he executed the “record” button and, from that same moment, the recording bar began to run, starting to emit flat waves until it recognized sound and the waves of that sound began to be reflected when, one or two seconds later, it executed the playback of a song but the recording did not begin with the emission of waves but before when the “record” button was executed. With the current version I can’t make this so and, in many cases, the first tenths of sound are not recorded. I hope I have explained myself clearly. Thank you very much in advance for your help. Go to Edit>Preferences>Recording
Then enable ‘Sound Activated Recording’
