I recently got a new computer and installed Audacity to it and tried to install plug-ins. On my previous computer there were 2 plug-ins that I used all the time, Bionic Display and Magnus Smartelectronix Ambience. When I tried to install them on the new computer it shows them in the Audacity Plug-ins folder, but when I open Audacity they are not there to use. All the other plug ins I installed are there however, but these two will not show. I have tried deleting them and reinstalling them, restarting audacity, and restarting my computer. Has anyone else had this problem with these plug-ins are others? Is there a solution? Thank you.

If they are VST effects you will probably need to tell Audacity to rescan the effects. See here for details: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#vst_install
