I recorded a long meeting, when files were recorded after 3 hours, each file has about 3GB , they recorded correctly and play out fully.
When I was recording a meeting without a break (over 5 hours), he file has 5GB, but the sound was recorded only for 41 minutes the first time, and 57 minutes the second time. The size of the file indicates that it should be fully recorded…
How to open the full recording ???
I’m guessing that you exported the recording in WAV format. A limitation of the format is that WAV files cannot be bigger than 4GB or they become corrupted and non-recoverable. If you still have the Audacity project, export in a different format such as FLAC, MP3 or OGG, or export the project in sections that are less than 4 GB.
