I have recorded a speech using Audacity and exported it as an MP3 file. When I open or import that audio, it shows an error. The audio size is still 64 mb but I am unable to import or open it for editing in Audacity

The error is indicated with the following dialogue box:

Did you save an Audacity project file too before exporting? If so, can you re-open that? If not, can you upload the MP3 file to Google Drive or something so that someone else could try opening the mp3 file?

What version of Audacity?

I assume you can open other MP3 files?

Does the MP3 file play in Windows Media Player?

If so, try converting the file to WAV with a 3rd party converter such as Kabuu Audio Conveter, and Audacity should be able to open the WAV file.

If it doesn’t play in WMP it’s probably badly corrupt and you may be out of luck.
