Hi All
Looking for some help on how to fix a very short recording of a lady who recorded in a video in a large room with a tiled floor. The audio sound is like she was standing away from the mic and in a room with no acoustics. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. More than happy to pay for someones time to sort this out.
Thank you Audacity formum.
Removing echoes from a recording is near impossible. You could look for a “deverb” plug-in effect which “may” make some improvement, but their effectiveness is very limited. The problem is that the echo is basically the same voice overlapping the original, just delayed a little. It is extremely difficult for a computer (any software) to work out which is the original voice and which is the echo. (Usually there will be very many overlapping echoes).
