problem of resonating sound

I am trying to record some streaming internet radio using Audacity.
I have WIN7
I set WASAPI
I selected Speaker and Mike Sennheiser SC60 (for Lync) - loopback as my source since I am listening to the streming on this same USB headset

when I try to check the recording levels or start recording then the music resonates to a loud level such as the output (headset speakers) feeds back into the recording input and overlaps/add with the original streaming thus saturating the recording level.

Anybody ca n help me to find a solution?

Try turning off Transport > Software Playthrough in the Audacity menus at the top.

Your Audacity playback device should be the USB headset too.
