I am new to Audacity. Is is possible to print data - such as an interview - from audio files imported to audacity?
If so, could someone explain how?
It would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Do you mean “Speech to text conversion”?
Audacity can’t do that.
The only program that I’ve used that can do this is Nuance’s Dragon NaturallySpeaking , though there are many others: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=speech+to+text+software
The technology is not perfect and requires some “training” for best results, but it has gradually been improving over the years.
If this is what you want, you may find this article of interest: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/askjack/2008/feb/21/canspeechrecognitionsoftware
Have a look at http://www.voxforge.org and if you are not too much in a hurry to get your speech to text you could start by helping us by recording a few samples…
