Prgram crashed when adding effects now audio disappeared

I was just about to finish and export my next radio show (volunteer dj at community station) and was adding an effect to my voice and bam!
File crashed, it was a big file, I had saved the data file as I saved the project but the show.aup file is empty of audio. The edits, clips, fades, etc are all there but no sound? I tried the auto recovery option when that window popped up but no luck. Says all the files are orphaned?

I’ve read around the forum for awhile and it sounds like the many hours I put into the show may be lost! Or I need to rename all the data files with the automator application to put them in numerological order or something? I’m not a super tech guy so that all sounds difficult.

Anyone have any ideas to save one of my best shows to date?

Here is the log

and so on lots and lots of Ophan block file warnings

Unfortunately I think the show will be unrecoverable.

I would recommend that you update Audacity to the current version, as the developers are continually making improvements to make Audacity more robust. The current version is 2.3.1 and is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/

Also, Audacity 2.3.2 is due to be released within weeks.

To avoid future catastrophes, it is highly recommended to adopt an effective backup strategy. For example, immediately after recording a long track, export that track as a WAV file backup. At regular intervals, make backups of the entire project by using “Save Project As” and giving each backup a unique name (I use a numbering system: project-name-001.aup, project-name-002.aup, …)
