I use the ability to jump between clips using the J/K keys all the time, but they are not working in v4.
I checked the Shortcut Keys setup and noticed they were not defined so I added them, but they still don’t work. Exited & Restarted - still not working.
“Previous clip boundary to cursor” in Audacity 3 meant “Select > Audio Clips > Previous clip boundary to cursor”. It was not about moving the cursor to the previous clip boundary. That command is (in Audacity 3) “Transport > Cursor to > Previous clip boundary”.
In Audacity 4 we have a “Record” menu instead of a “Transport” menu.
I hope this all gets cleaned up in the next release and we get all the Audacity 3 functionality back. Easily moving between clips seems a pretty basic function in the refactoring of Audacity where the basic unit of audio is a clip (in Audacity 3 and earlier it was a track).
I raised an issue two years ago on Github regarding how these commands are presented in the Macro editor. It has gotten zero attention.
