PreSonus FaderPort compatibility

Good day all… does anyone know if the PreSonus FaderPort one channel controller works with audacity? Appreciate any help. TIA

PreSonus® FaderPort has been tested and approved to work with the following software:

  • Native Mode
    PreSonus Studio One® 3.5.6 with extension*** or Studio One 4.0.1 or later
  • HUI Emulation
    Supported by Pro Tools 12 and higher
  • Mackie Universal Control Emulation**
    Supported by Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, and Ableton

No mention of Audacity.

So I did a google search and could find no mention of anyone using (or trying to use) the FaderPort with Audacity. :frowning:

I did find this statement, “Audacity is not a proper DAW and it isn’t designed to work with DAW controllers.” here: https://guitargearfinder.com/guides/daw-controllers/, although that refers to MIDI controllers.
