First, you should know I am not a tech person so kindly answer my question in “layman-ese”. Thanks!
I created a powerpoint (Windows 10) that has inserted in it a few videos taken with my smartphone (Android).
I have Camtasia on my computer, a video-editing program.
I recorded my own narration for the slides that did not have the videos.
When the video was created, there is a different sound quality between the phone videos and the ppt narration. After reading this forum, I am guessing the ambient echo-ish-ness of the room for the video I took on the cell is what caused this. The ppt narration sounds flatter (if that makes sense).
Tech support at Tech Smith (the company that makes Camtasia) said I need to export the audio to Audacity, fix it, and then put it back in to correct this.
I don’t care if the flatter-sounding audio becomes “rounder” or if the rounder one, flatter. I just need them all the same.
What do you suggest?
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your help!
How exactly was the sound in the “phone video” recorded? What equipment, what settings, how was it set up, where was is set up?

It would be helpful if you included a short sample of each. Just a few seconds in WAV format will be fine. See here for how to post an audio sample: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/how-to-post-an-audio-sample/29851/1
