Podcast Bit spikes with the "S"'s

I have a bit I do for the Order 66 Podcast called the Moderator. For the past couple of recordings I’ve done, every time I’ve spoken a word ending in an “s” sound it spikes.

Are there any suggestions anyone can offer me for editing this out? I’ve tried being quiet when I end the word but that doesn’t do much to help.

The recording can be found here. The recording is The Order 66 Podcast Episode 35 - Convention-al Wisdom.

My bit starts at 12:05 mark and lasts about five minutes (there’s a part that repeats–that was my own fault  ).

To remove spikes of any type use a limiter.

To reduce sibilant “S”'s you need a de-esser , like SpitFish [ Windows only ]

Okay, thanks!

I’ll give that a whirl.
