I am Tomas Tamaki from brazil ( http://www.audacityteam.org/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&f=32&t=3784)
Here in brazil have many people than use Audacity. I think that a portuguese forum it is a great idea in this oficial forum.

For a Brazilian Portuguese Forum to be successful, it needs someone with a command of that language and sufficient knowledge of Audacity to make a daily commitment to answering the questions. If you think you could be that person (or you know someone else who could), please reply to this thread and we will be happy to create the Forum, and advertise it on the Wiki and main website. When we are happy that person is suitable, we would give them moderator privileges.
