PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you introduce the ability to solo multiple tracks?? This is a feature that was in an older version of audacity but the current version no longer has it D’X!!! please mr audacity it is so impractical going through to mute each and every track but two!!!
I thought it followed the Click/Shift-Click/Control-Click convention but I guess not.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Tracks Behaviors and change the Solo Button setting to “Multi-Track” (default setting is “Simple”)
Then you can click on and off as many solo buttons as you want.
