Playback jumps to start midway

I must have done something during playback and now midway at a fixed point the recording keeps jumping back to the start of the recording. Thanks

Did you turn Looping on accidentally, perhaps?

Thanks. i can now see the problem. A black vertical line lodges itself in the time line and I can’t get of it. This causes that when you press play it starts from there. And sometimes it loops at that point to start. Trouble is that looping isn’t enabled and clear looping doesn’t help.
