I am playing old LP records into audacity so I can make CD copies and enjoy them on Windows Media etc, and for use in my auto and other places. The problem I cannot figure out is when I am recording I see the sound wave graphic but cannot hear any sound. When I replay what I record it plays fine through my speakers. Yes I see the playback volume control but it only works on playback not on record. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks so much for this wonderful program and so graciously provided for free. What a blessing for us old timers who want to re-enjoy the music from the past.
