I am looking for a pitch bend effect. What I’m looking for is EXACTLY like turntable warping, exept I don’t want it to change the tempo. Can someone please tell me where I can find a pitch bend?

“Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift” in the “Effect” menu.
It’s not particularly easy to use and the current version has the sliders set the wrong way round, but with a bit of effort you will probably be able to achieve the required effect. Note that all “time stretch” type effects cause some form of distortion so don’t expect to get perfect results.
I don’t really like the audacity version. The audio is kind of crappy…Is there anything else?
The “Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift” effect in Audacity 1.3.12 is an improvement over previous versions.

There is no compulsion for you to use Audacity if you don’t like it. You could try “Bias Peak Pro 6” - it’s very good.
