Hello! I’m a new user of Audacity. Anyway, trying to upload to YouTube. I went to export my first test and it said I didn’t have permission to save in that location, which is probably the Audacity folder. So, I needed to contact an administrator to obtain permission?
If you are not logged in as administrator, try clicking “Save in” at the top of the export window and choose a folder in your own User folder to save to.

I tried saving to my own User folder, but it isn’t cooperating with YouTube or Windows Movie Maker.
That’s not Audacity’s problem if it exported the file correctly.
You’ll need to explain in exact detail what you are trying to do with the exported file. What format did you save it in?
