Hi! When I open the logicial, there’s only the pause icon that replaces record, stop, forward, backward icons, etc. I’ve downloaded the logicial twice in different locations on my PC but it didn’t change anything. If you’re really using Audacity 1.3, it is a good idea to upgrade to the latest version

1.3 and 1.2 before it are no longer supported and if we do get you out of trouble, it will be by accident.

but we don’t have any answer to it. Are you on Windows XP?
Mousing over the icons may make the correct button appear.
If not, use the keyboard shortcut alternatives for the buttons instead. For example, R to record, F2 for Envelope Tool. All the shortcuts are here:
