I recently updated audacity from 3.0.2 to 3.3.3, and one of my old VST that used to work on 3.0.2, Rovee to be specific, became incompatible. Reloading the plugin folder just automatically disable it. My other VST2 and VST3 plugins still work fine though. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I also got some newer x64 plugins, is there anyway to get the old plugin to work in x64, like bridging or something. As a last resort, Can there be 2 different version of Audacity on the same device ?
I have 32-bit & 64-bit versions of Audacity on the same machine.
They are unzipped into different folders to keep them separate.
NB: They will not run at the same time.
The 64-bit version of Audacity’s free competitor OCENaudio hosts both 32-bit & 64-bit VST2 plugins, (but not VST3).
Ooh, i think im gonna check that out, thank you for helping me !
