Password and linking account

So this stupid update required me to redownload Audacity and I needed to re-link my account to Audio.com. I filled in my password and email to login to my Audio.com account and that for some reason did not work, how am I able to relink my account back? I am furious because this update should not have made me redownload the app again so get back to me as soon as possible.

I do not use audio.com, but I would try with “reset password” or “forgot password”, or the like.

One other question, is Audio .com and Audacity not the same password/email. Do I need a different account for both?

Audacity does not have a username / password - it is just free software.

I am just un able to link my audacity to my audio .com account which is why this is frustrating I’ve reset passwords and done everything and nothing has worked. Where is there help for audio .com?
