I’m new to Audacity and very inexperienced with sound recording generally.
I am using Focusright Scarlett interface and have at last achieved output without latency from guitar pickup. However, despite the Focusright device showing input from the Rode vocal mic (and yes phantom power is on), I am only hearing the guitar through the headphones but nothing from the mic. Audacity is set to stereo recording.
Advice please.
If the headphones are plugged into Scarlett interface, (rather than the computer),
check the gain-knob on the mic channel isn’t turned to zero.
( if the mic has a switch on it, check that’s on ).
