Parasite noises on audio recording

hi !

I did an interview recently, but during the interview a telephone on the table has interfered with the recorder.

So I try to eradicate these parasite noises, but I meet some difficulties with the three configuration of Audacity (noise reduction, sensitivity and frequency smoothing in nose reduction). The parasite noises are on a different frequency, so it should not be so hard to ease them, no ? I tried with other configurations (equalizateur for example), but it gives me no good results

Can I have some help, please ? thanks !

Have a look at the recording in spectrogram view , rather than the default waveform view.
You may be able to surgically remove the interference from the spectrogram using Audacity’s spectral edit tool …
