Overlaying audio tracks on top of one another isn't working.

I attached a picture of the problem, i can record audio just fine, but as soon as i try to overlay multiple audio tracks my audio cuts out while i record. I’m using headphones and a USB microphone and it works just fine. It’s not a mic problem. I’ve been using these same headphones and microphone for days and this problem only started just now.

Ensure that all Windows sound “Enhancements” are disabled. (See: Why do my recordings fade out or sound as if they were made in a tunnel?)

In your picture you don’t say which track is which. Are you overdubbing? What is it that you are trying to accomplish?
