Hello,
When exporting multiple files using the sample data export tool in 2.1.0 it creates multiple files if the “Allow files to be overwritten” option is set to “no”.
However, this option is nowhere to be found in 2.3.2. Is it hidden away, or completely missing? Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
The new version of Sample Data Export has a “file browser widget” (the button that says “Select a file”). When you click that button, a file browser window opens, which allows you to select where you want to save the data. If you select a file that already exists, you will be asked at that point whether you want to overwrite or choose a new file name. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sample_data_export.html
Yeah, but what if I want to export multiple files at once? In the previous version, it would just name the files “Filename-1” “Filename-2” etc., and now, this option is missing. Is there any way to achieve this now?
What do you mean? Are you wanting to do some sort of batch processing? What are you actually doing?
