[Frequency analysis graphs](https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/plot_spectrum.html) are the answer: they are not affected by playback hardware (or wetware) …

I don’t hear echo on your Adam recording, (just muffled equalization).

Windows can add echo-y effects (a/k/a “enhancements”) to playback,

[You should disable any audio “enhancements” in the playback & recording tabs of Windows sound control panel]
