I tried loading OldSkoolVerb plugin without success and require any assistance that you can provide please.
I’m probably doing something incorrectly, but can’t figure out what.
I’ve tried installing it on both my old pc Win XPSP 5.1 serv pack 3; and my 2 year old pc Windows 10.
The Win-XP has Audacity 2.0.6;
The Windows 10 has Audacity 2.2.2;
XP Effort:
I placed the 32 bit VST option into the Program Files/Audacity/Plugins/ area.
When I opened Audacity and pulled down the EFFECTS button, but I could not see a ADD/REMOVE PLUGINS option, so could not go any further.
If the plugins manager is somewhere else I couldn’t find it.
Windows 10 Effort:
I placed the 64 bit VST option into the Program Files(x86)/Audacity/Plugins/ area.
I found the file under Effects menu Add/Remove Plugins…
I ENABLED the NEW file.
When I pressed OK it came up with the following error msg:
“…Failed to Register. Could not load the library”
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Windows 10 pc finally loaded thanks.
I tried all options, and originally it was no go.
I then tried again loading in the pgm files (x86)/ common files/…which was the default suggested setting when trying to install Voxengo, but even that was no go.
After uninstalling the pgm again, I finally tried once more to place the 32 bit VST version in pgm files(86)/audacity/plugins/ …and lo and behold:
It appeared in EFFECTS without having to ENABLE and OK!
Which makes wonder how I got it to work the 2nd time?
I apologise for my lack of computer acumen but thank you for your response.
Any ideas for the Windows XP vesion pc with my 2.0.6 Audacity?
My main issue so far is I don’t know where the plugins manager is on 2.0.6 as it does not appears when dropping down the EFFECTS menu.
