I would like to open my older AUP project files (basically made with version 2.1.3) with either version 2.3.3 or 2.4.2. The new programs start to open the project but can’t finish it, the programs crash (I have to force program finishing). I tried more project files. With version 2.1.3 it still works fine. What can I do if I want to use newer Audacity? Can I correct project files or I have to change Audacity program settings? Thank you!

I just created a project in 2.1.3 and it opened fine in 2.4.2.
I also tried it with the latest alpha I have for the upcoming 3.0.0 (which has a substantially different project format) and the 2.1.3 project opened fine there too.

Yesterday I tried with another PC with the same program and it worked… So the problem is in my other system. Thank you for your help! Sorry for the incorrect problem, I think, this topic can be closed…
