nyquist files not found

Mac OS X V10.6.8 Audacity installed from the dgm.

Installed few days ago. No issues then. Now above is generated at start up. Have tried to re-install - no change. Fault similar to “micksan” on 7th July 2012, but cannot find what, if any, solution was found at that time. Thanks.

The usual cause of this problem is that Audacity is being run directly from the DMG file.

There are 2 steps to installing on Mac:

  1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg to mount it
  2. Then to install Audacity, copy the “Audacity” folder from the newly mounted .dmg to /Applications or any other location of your choosing.
