Audacity will not record anything. When I click monitor, the bar goes up at first like it is monitoring then immediately goes down and stops. No sound is recorded.
What are you trying to record? What is the goal?
Posters who say that are almost always trying to record YouTube or other on-line content. It’s not that easy and there are special settings needed.
