Help please. I have a Windows 10 gaming computer, running xbox one thru the elgato capture card and audacity to record sessions. Purchased a splitter from KVConnection for turtle beach mic for recording. It is not recording my voice, only picking up the other players. Can anyone help?
settings for audacity:
Windows direct

Audacity doesn’t usually get along with other sound programs. You can investigate FRAPS for gamer, chat and commentary at the same time.

FRAPS has not been updated for a couple of years and does not officially support Windows 10. So look around for advice on online forums if you do use FRAPS and encounter issues.
If you are using the method on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxROjL3MEHs&feature=youtu.be check your default recording device in Windows Sound.
You can also record voice and gameplay to separate computers.
