Hi, I’m trying to remove noise with Audacity, but I don’t have the “Noise Removal” tool I’ve seen in videos. Only “Noise Reduction”. What can I do to fix this? Thanks
You are looking at videos that refer to an obsolete version of Audacity.
I presume that you are using the current 2.1.2 version of Audacity? (look in “Help > About Audacity”).
The old Noise Removal effect has been updated, improved and renamed “Noise Reduction”. Instructions for how to use it are in the manual here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/noise_reduction.html
