I have a short audio file that has some background hiss and semi-low voice volume. I’ve scoured the forums and internet, and tried all suggestions here to no avail - I still can’t completely understand what’s being said in the recording. I’m looking for new techniques / tips that any users have come up with to accomplish this, any suggestions?
If the recording quality is so bad that you are unable to make out what is being said, then the only real solution is to re-record it.
Please note that we do not offer an audio forensics service for enhancing or retrieving audio from covert recordings. That is a specialist field and may have legal implications. If in doubt, please seek assistance from a specialist in that field.
