I have repeatedly attempted the 2 step process for noise reduction. I have watched the online tutorials, and have quite convinced myself that I am doing everything correctly, and yet it is not working. I select the area of “noise”. I “get noise profile”. I select the entire track and run step 2. It processes “applying noise reduction”. When the process has been completed, there is absolutely no change to the track. Any ideas for the frustrated?
Please state which version of OS X you are using, the exact three-section version of Audacity from Audacity > About Audacity
OS X 10.9.5 - Audacity 2.1.1
It was the dog installer file. Not the zip.
