Hello, I dont get a stereo recording, the buttons are on the right position, and still I dont have stereo, only mono!! Is there anybody with this same problem or what can I do to get a stereo sound. I have audacity 1.2 [windows] Thanks. Willem [dutch]

If this is something to do with recording from a USB tape deck or USB record player and you are on Windows Vista or later, you need to set the turntable to record in stereo in Windows.
- By the system clock, right-click over the Speaker icon > Recording Devices then right-click over USB Audio Codec > “Properties”.
- On the “Advanced” tab, in the “Default Format” section, make sure the drop-down menu is set to “2 channel 16 bit 44100 Hz”.
If you have some other problem, please tell us exactly what you are trying to record and exactly what version of Windows you are on.
