No Sound

I installed 2.0.3 and everything works great except when I hit play there is no sound. I’m using Windows 7 Ultimate and I downloaded from an .exe installer.

If you have waving blue lines and the green playback meters throb, then you have a show whether or not you can hear it.

Where are you listening? Built-in speakers? Change Audacity Preferences so the playback system is pointing to your built-in soundcard. This can get messed up when you plug a USB sound device in, no matter what it is.
