I am trying to play vinyl and save on computer.

Windows vista home premium
Grace turntable
Voice recording works well but not recording when playing vinyl, no sound through headset, no wave indicator unless I speak into the microphone.
The turntable is only connected to the usb port in the computer.
Any suggestions please?

Make sure you select the USB turntable as your recording input instead of the microphone. [u]This page[/u] may help.

Note that Windows has separate recording & playback “mixers”, so you don’t necessarily hear what you are recording.
