One of our problems is using the same words but meaning very different things.

You can get a silent MP3 three different ways: There is no sound in the file, or there is, but the computer won’t play it for you, or the computer is putting the sound in the wrong place.

What happens when you open up the file in Audacity? Did everything come back and can you hear it?

Did you have the blue waves and bouncing sound meters at the point you exported the work?

Are you using a USB microphone? Which one? Describe the system.

Depending on where you get stuck, Export a show as a WAV instead of MP3.

When recording with a USB device you may have to disconnect the USB device when you want sound in Media Player, or set Windows to use the built-in audio device by default: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_playback.html#usb .

Okay, When I unplugged the usb mich…media player works.
