No scrollbar Version 3.3 on linux mint 21.2

I’ve just downloaded the Audacity 3.3 appimage on my hp laptop running linux mint 21.2. I created a 30 second audio. Audacity did not add the horizontal scrollbar. When I add several tracks it adds the vertical scrollbar. This makes editing anything difficult if not impossible. I frequently record 20+ tracks and the scrollbar is a must…
Any Ideas ??

It’s a bug that appeared a couple of years ago: Linux: No scrollbars · Issue #2222 · audacity/audacity · GitHub

The usual workaround is to maximise / un-maximise the Audacity window, and the scrollbars will probably then work.
