No recordings with Bluetooth Jabra Eclipse.

Good evening,

Please help me with this problem:
Despite the fact that the Jabra Eclipse is recognizable as a device in Audacity, I cannot make recordings. When the record button is pressed, nothing happens. No waveform is visible.

The Jabra Eclipse is visible in Audacity

I’ve tried the Windows DirectSound and Windows WASAPI instead of MME but no result.

Thank you

If your bluetooth device has power saving options, turn them off.
Try doing “Transport menu > Rescan Audio Devices”, then check that the device settings in Audacity are correct and then try recording.

Note that bluetooth devices are not recommended for recording, especially with Audacity. Wired devices are much more reliable for recording.

Hi Steve,

Unfortunately, I have to note that the Jabra Eclipse does not work with Audacity. Too bad, but then I’ll use a wired microphone.

Thanks for your reply.
