windows XP SP3, Akai reel to reel input to ION USBTT TURNTABLE, ION output to USB computer input on front of DELL dimension 9100.
With star monitoring enabled, both input and output meters show input being received.
in record mode- no waveform displayed and nothing is recorded. software play through does not work either.

Do you get blue waves when you press record and then press stop a bit later? If you do, then you have a recording and just the play system is messed up.
