I’m currently running Audacity 2.3.2 on Windows 10
I originally recorded this project (dnd session 4) in late January and haven’t touched it since, today when I tried to open it I got an error so I went to the internet for help. Turns out I had made the common mistake of putting the APF file into the data file, but I had messed up a step further and renamed the data file after putting the APF inside of it. I remedied it by taking the APF out and fixing the folder to have the exact name with the _data at the end (pictured in an attachment) and did that again for all my other files. It worked perfectly for every other recording I had, but for some reason when I went to play the dnd session 4 file, it has no audio whatsoever. It opens fine and the recording will still “play” for the original length but the line is completely flat and it has no sound. I tried switching the output and playing some others as well and everything is fine otherwise.
I’ve attached a pic of the files, a screenshot of what I see, and the file itself if that helps

Do you mean you put the Audacity AUP file inside the _DATA folder by accident? They’re supposed to be separate.

Did you play it as a check immediately after you recorded it? It’s possible it’s been dead the whole time. Look at the folder info for this show and the folder infos of the others. Is this one’s size suspiciously low?
