Using Mac Mohave & Audacity 2.32
I’m confused with connectors I need to hook
up an old ‘80’s hitachi cassette tape player recorder
to my iMac.
I just want to convert old tapes to mp3s.
Could some tell me exactly what cord connectors I need to get?!

Do you have the little round connector like the one on the left?
Just having the round hole doesn’t count. It has to have that circle and two arrows.
If you do, then it’s easy. That’s the Mac’s stereo input. This is the adapter cable. 1/8" stereo male to two RCAs.
If not, then it’s a lot more trouble.
