New to all this. I have a Yeti blue microphone that connects to my PC using USB and trying to record a podcast using Audacity. When I record, I keep hearing a buzzing sound. I do not know if this is a mic issue or a software issue. You can listen to the sample audio at

So I can hear some white noise in the background. There are forum elves here that hopefully will pop up who can give you insight as to what might be causing this and how to correct it.
In the meantime, you can use the Noise Reduction effect, to eliminate most of it.

I do not know if this is a mic issue or a software issue.
Or playback issue. I hear normal quiet neighborhood sounds behind your voice. You might try listening on something that’s not your computer.
When you post sound for the forum to use, it’s a good idea to make sure we can download the work without having to start a subscription—or capture it on-line. The on-line capture can distort the work in in our system in addition to anything that might actually be wrong with it.
