Where do I get it and will it automatically overwrite the present version?
Download it via the Audacity website: Audacity ® | Downloads
If you chose the recommended installer, then running the installer will, by default, update any 2.x.x version of Audacity to 2.1.0.
There will be an official announcement on this forum soon (later today I expect), which may include additional information, so it may be worth waiting to see what that says before you install.
