Hi all,
I would like to begin by saying thank you for the people who have created and worked on Audacity, it is an absolute beautiful piece of engineering. I particularly like how effects are “applied” rather than, happening in real-time.
I have two questions.
-
Is it possible to create a mastering chain with multiple plugins (e.g., 10 plugins in a specific order) and apply this chain to every track, without having to reapply it manually for each one? There are certain plugins I always apply to every single master where the parameters within those plugins do not change when they are selected. For example a 20 Hz low cut with FabFilter Pro-Q 3.

When I master an Album, I tend to have the entire album inside a single DAW. I would usually have to export each individual track separately. There is an export multiple individual track options however, for example, if I have two tracks—one at 30 seconds and another at 1 minute—both tracks will be exported at 1 minute, resulting in 30 seconds of silence at the end of the shorter track. Can Audacity export each track individually at its specific length, with all effects applied? For instance, if I have three tracks—one at 1 minute 27 seconds, another at 2 minutes 47 seconds, and a third at 53 seconds—can I export each track at its exact length, ensuring the effects are applied to each one?
