Hello, I was editing an audio file in Audacity, and my file disappeared. I can’t even access it on the computer. it legit says file list or corrupt. Why does this keep happening!

If it’s really gone you can try various file recovery utilities. (I used to have one but I don’t remember the name.)
What’s the format? If it’s an AUP3 Audacity project file it has to be on an internal NTFS or exFAT drive. (It can be temporarily moved to a FAT32-drive or network/cloud storage but it should be saved/opened to/from an internal drive.
