Hello Community,
I am trying to turn my cassettes to mp3, I bought cassette tape player “db tech”! and I am having a lot of problem It slows the songs when recording! So the sound comes out in slow motion? I tried to connect dc power to it to have it run faster well that made the songs have background noise caused by the dc and usb wire entering too the device close to each other!!! I could go on and on,I just need help from anyone to see if I can buy a better device for transferring songs.
Thank you for your help.
Jon

We have some questions about that. Are you listening to the music as Audacity is recording and it’s OK? How, exactly? Headphones plugged into the deck? The computer speakers in Audacity Playthrough mode? We have a number of problem postings exactly like this and there should not be. If the sound capture system is damaging the music that much, it should crash or inform you of an error. It doesn’t do either. There may be some serious defect that is sneaking past all the efforts to eradicate it.
If you work with us, we may be able to make the original USB cassette machine work.
