I’m using Audacity 2.0.3 on Windows 8. When I try to export a file to MP3 a window comes up saying [Could not open MP3 encoding library], any help is appreciated.
While Audacity and many other applications can open up and play MP3 files, making new ones requires special software.
You need to download and install the “Lame” MP3 software.
