My audacity will not save

Hello All!

I need help. I am having difficulties trying to save and export my project on audacity. When I try to either save it or export it as an Mp3 there is a pop up that says unable to save. I have downloaded audacity and LAME 2 different times and each time I try to save my project, it doesn’t work. I have a Macbook Air. Can anybody help me?

Ensure that you have downloaded “Audacity 2.1.1 .dmg” from here: http://web.audacityteam.org/download/mac
and ensure that you have installed it according to the instructions on that page.
